Harry Potter #1 Movie Again


For the 2nd weekend in a row, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 dominated the #1 slot taking in $50.3 million from Friday to Sunday. This marks a US haul of $220.4 million in just 10 days, beating out all of the other Potter movies in their first 10 days. The penultimate film will easily hit the $300 million mark within the next 2 weeks. Coming up in 2nd was Disney's 'Tangled' which defied expectations by bringing in $49.1 million in its first weekend. Burlesque opened up in 4th with $11.8 million which is on par with other Thanksgiving opening musicals, like Rent.
