A 3D Ice Road Truckers Movie?

In a bit of complete unnecessary-ness, news comes today that there is a 3D Ice Road Truckers movie in the works. Not only is an Ice Road Truckers movie completely unnecessary, but in 3D? If you're thinking this will be just one long episode of the series, it's not. This will take the series and give it some sort of plot.

Aint It Cool News reports: "They're hatching a plot around the storyline of the series, which covers a group of truckers who drive 18-wheelers over a 350-mile highway made of ice, as they haul equipment and supplies to diamond miners working in the tundra of Canada's Northwest Territories. It's a dangerous job given the brutal cold, breakdowns, crashes and melting ice on the remote roads are potentially fatal. "It is very much a tough guy movie," Moore said. "Here's a bunch of characters who tackle problems by getting in there and getting things done. We'll turn it into a mission movie that harkens back to Towering Inferno, Jaws, or The Guns of Navarone. You got a problem, go solve it."

This seems...um.... unnecessary.  The fact that it's filming in 3D just makes it three dimensions of unnecessary.

5nal Destination Announced

The fifth entry in the Final Destination series now has a title: 5inal Destination. Bloody Disgusting reports that the always epic opening sequence will take place on a suspension bridge. The 3D film starts shooting this September and will be released August 26, 2011.

Scurry scurry! This series has been highly entertaining and the opening sequence has always been crazy suspenseful. Are YOU excited for the next installment?

Conan The Barbarian: The Musical

This brings the SERIOUS LOL's! Some creative person has fashioned footage from the Conan movies into a trailer and attached a hysterical musical type narrative song to it! LOVES it!

Eminem's "Recovery" Sells 750K Albums

Who says the music industry is dead? Eminem's latest, "Recovery" has sold 753,000 copies in its first week in stores. This will easily hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. His last effort, "Relapse" sold 608,000 copies in its first week, but fizzled out soon after. Out of the seven singles released from "Relapse" only two made the Top 10. Already, the lead single of "Recovery", "Not Alone" has hit #1 and it looks as if his duet with Rihanna "Love The Way You Lie" is on it's way as well.

This just goes to show the industry, when you have innovative ARTISTS with good music people will buy it. Look at Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, etc. Don't give us manufactured crap and we'll buy the music!

Adam Lambert "For Your Entertainment" Review

Adam Lambert literally pushed himself into the public consciousness through television's most watched show, American Idol. Almost immediately he was both loved and hated by audiences and critics alike. Surrounded by controversy at almost every turn, from his song choices, to his outfits, to his 'is he or isn't he' sexuality. The good things for Lambert though, was that the spotlight was always on him. It's telling that Lambert's debut is almost platinum while Kris Allen who's that? sits collecting dust.

'For Your Entertainment' is everything you could hope for in a record - it's fun, it's sexual, it has incredible vocals, excellent production and catchy hooks.  It introduces you to the kind of recording artist Lambert truly is - hard to categorize but highly entertaining.

Katy Perry's California Gurls Breaks Records

Katy Perry's California Gurls continues to dominate the summer airwaves as it takes its third week in the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has also broken the record for the most plays in one week logging 11,816 plays last week. The song broke the record held by Ke$ha's Tik Tok with 11,224 plays in one week.

Twilight's "Bree Tanner" Novella Sells 1 Million Copies

Wowzers! "The Short Second Life Of Bree Tanner: A Twilight Novella" has already sold more than 1 million copies since it's US release June 5th. The spin-off novella, written by Twilight scribe Stephenie Meyer,  has also been available to read for free from her website, and will continue to be through July 5th. $1 from the sale of each book sold has gone to the American Red Cross.

"Second Life..." was originally to be included in the The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide as an add on, but to her publishers delight, was released on its own. The book takes place in the time frame of the "Eclipse" section of the trilogy. "Second Life..." sold over 350,000 copies in its first 2 days of release.

Glee Gets Syndicated AND A Reality Show

Glee has seriously become a television phenomenon. In just it's first season it has managed to spawn three #1 albums, a sold out tour, appearances on everything from Oprah to the cover of Rolling Stone, an upcoming slot after the Super Bowl, and everything else in between. Now, after just one season, Glee will be syndicated. Cable network Oxygen will get syndication rights starting in 2013. In addition, they've picked up the rights to a reality show to find a new cast member. The deal is said to be worth in the "mid six figures" per episode.

This is AMAZING for a show in it's first season! The reality show sounds fun too! The Whore will be tuned in! Will YOU?

Allison Iraheta's 'Just Like You' Review

Allison Iraheta burst into the national consciousness after taking 4th place on Season 8 of American Idol. From there she toured with the Idol cast and then went straight to the recording studio to record this debut. A top notch team of industry hit makers was compiled for the debut. "Just Like You" is a very solid album with a ton of contenders for single releases. Iraheta already has a head start there as many of her counter parts have two or three great singles and then 10 filler tracks. While many reviews have compared Iraheta to the likes of Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, Iraheta is in a completely different category. Too smart and too talented to be boxed in, this isn't a girl who's been manufactured into a recording artist, this is a girl who IS an artist. Amazing vocals, killer personality and with top notch songs, "Just Like You" is a debut album that shows promise of a long term career artist.

Google Street View's Mysterious Horse Boy

Google knows all. Sometimes it let's us in on life's little secrets. Take for instance, the above photo of  "Horse Boy" that has appeared on Google Street View - Google's photographic mapping service. There have been sightings all throughout Europe, ranging from London to Germany. Some have claimed to have met him while others have claimed to be him. There have been some rumblings that he can be seen in other Street View photos.  In the end, no one really knows why there happened to be a random portly man wearing a horse mask roaming the streets of Aberdeen UK. Very, very peculiar.

Peter Jackson Back On The Hobbit?

Could it be true fellow Lord Of The Rings Whores?!?!?! Could it really really be true? Trusted sources on the interwebs are saying that Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson may be signing on to direct both of The Hobbit films. Originally, PJ was going to direct, but other commitments brought him to the producer role while Guillermo Del Toro was slated to direct. Now that Del Toro has dropped out and PJ's schedule is semi-free, he could be back on!

The Whore thinks it would make sense to keep Peter Jackson on for continuity reasons. The only real Middle Earth I've ever known has been Jacksons'.

Jason Bateman Think He's Better Than You

Actor Jason Bateman of Arrested Development decided that he didn't want to wait in line for his Apple iPhone 4 like the rest of us. He decided he was better than the people who camped out DAYS before for their shiny new iThing. In fact, he decided he was better than everyone in the MASSIVE line at the Los Angeles Apple Store. After waiting in line for a little while, Bateman was escorted by an Apple employee from the back of the line right into the Apple Store to purchase his iPhone. Thirty minutes or so later he came out with his iPhone 4 and faced a crowd of angry boo-ers and hissers - and rightfully so. Of course, they could have also been booing at his starring role in Teen Wolf Too.

10 Year Old Wears 215 Pairs Of Underpants

10 year old Jack Singer rang in his tenth birthday by setting a Guinness World Record for wearing the most pairs of underpants. Instead of a normal party with his friends and a clown, his parents subjected the boy to become the town freak show a world wide phenom by allowing news crews and the mayor of their New York town to stand by - while people gawked as they put more underpants on him. A record 215 pairs of underpants were put on him in 18 minutes. In a very kind jester, little Jack asked everyone to donate cash to help an injured Iraq Marine.

Justin Bieber's Mom Is Naughty!

Word has hit the interwebs that the anti-christs' Justin Bieber's 34 year old mother is considering posing for Playboy. The magazine has approached Pattie and offered $50,000 for a, ahem, spread. Pattie, who is divorced from Biebers father, began filming her sons videos and uploaded them to YouTube where they became hugely popular.
