Cyndi Lauper Flubs National Anthem

New York American icon Cyndi Lauper opened the tennis U.S. Open in New York yesterday with an amazing rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. Lauper did have lyrical difficult with one portion of the song however. Watch the video below.



Lauper responded on her Twitter, "Whew, I just did the anthem for the US open. It was an awesome experience.I got choked up in the middle remembering 9/11."
