Amy Winehouse Dead At 27

This is sad news. Recording artist Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London home today at age 27. The troubled singer battled mental health issues and drug and alcohol addiction for most of her life. The cause of death is currently unknown, but is being investigated. Her 2006 album, Back To Black, wont five Grammys and was hugely popular, spawning singles: Rehab, You Know I'm No Good & Love Is A Losing Game.

While this is very sad news, to many, it was an expected event. Winehouse battled with a crack cocaine addiction, was refusing to record her follow up record and was missing tour dates constantly. It is a reminder to us all that mental health issues are serious business. There's no shame in getting help, just as there's no shame in getting help for Diabetes.

R.I.P. Amy!

New Superman Movie Gets Pushed Back

The Superman reboot, Man Of Steel, starring Henry Cavill, has been pushed back. The Zack Snyder directed film was originally scheduled to be released in December 2012, but has now been pushed back to June 14, 2013. Warner Brothers states that the extra time will be spent in post production.

Michele Bachmann's Gay Husband Gets Glittered!

If you haven't seen this video yet, you are in for a treat. Looney Toon  Nut Job  Crazy Person  Tea Bagger Presidential Candidate (I can't even type that without laughing hysterically) Michele Bachmann has a history of hating...well, anyone different then her. She and her gay husband Marcus Bachmann believe that gays are "barbarians" and can be converted to heterosexuality. In fact, her gay husband runs a clinic that proposes to do just that. Of course, they are ultra religious (as most people who hate are), so the therapy has something to do with praying. We guess the Bachmann family decided to ignore the part in the Bible where it says "judge not, that ye be not judged" or "condemn not and ye shall not be condemned". Of course they probably crossed silly things like that out with a Sharpie. Interestingly enough, her gay husband's business Bachmann & Associates also has collected $137,000 in Medicaid over the past six years, while Michele Bachmann herself is publicly against Medicaid. In fact, she's so against Medicaid she regularly rails on programs like Medicaid, stating that they are "part of the root problem with Washington's spending addiction". Of course, just like their fanatical religious beliefs, the Bachmann's get to pick and choose what's convenient for their agenda, when it's convenient for their agenda.

But the gays would have none of it! A group of gay "barbarians" stormed Bachmann & Associates wanting to be "educated" and "disciplined", just as gay Marcus Machmann said. Watch the hilarity that ensues!

Cher & Lady Gaga To Duet

First came news that Lady Gaga had given uber icon Cher a song that she had written, which will be the lead single for her upcoming album. Cher tweeted giddily about that. It seems fans were asking Cher on Twitter if Gaga was on the song and Cher said that she wasn't. Looks like word got to The Gaga as it's now become a duet. The song, The Greatest Thing, is a super upbeat extremely catchy song. It was already destined to be a sure fire hit for Cher. Now with the addition of The Gaga, it's already written in stone! The gays are going to explode!

Madonna's W.E. Gets Release Date & Distributor

Madonna's been unusually quiet lately, but with very good reason. She's been hard at work directing a feature film that she co-wrote with Alek Keshishian, co-produced with Kris Thykier. Executive produced by Scott Franklin (Black Swan), W.E. tells the story of the marriage of Britain's King Edward VIII to American Wallis Simpson and how that relationship effects the marriage of an unhappy woman living in America 60 years later. The film has been picked up by The Weinstein Company for distribution.

Harvey Weinstein, chairman of TWC says, "Madonna beautifully interweaves past and present in 'W.E.' It's a very smart film, and a stunning feature directorial debut," said Weinstein. "I'm incredibly excited about this movie and I wanted to give it a prominent release date." That release date is December 9, 2011 for New York and Los Angeles, expanding markets weekly with a wide release in January 2012.
